NOTTINGHAM, MD—The closure of Dunfield Road at Belair Road is still causing traffic headaches for many Nottingham residents, and the project has hit a brief delay.
The closure was implemented due to a water main break earlier this month.
Councilman David Marks on Wednesday reported that there was a delay in the road work.
The contractor for this project was unable to clear a Miss Utility request, according to Marks. Repairs are now set to begin on Thursday and will continue through early next week.
“Every day, I remind Baltimore City that this closure is delaying school buses and creating an inconvenience,” said Councilman Marks. “Sorry to bring news like this, but thought (residents) should have an update.”
