Burglaries reported in Glen Arm, Middle River, White Marsh

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating an arson and three burglaries that were reported over the past week.

At around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, individuals entered a location in the 7100-block of Marshy Point Road in Middle River (21220) and cut the latches off of the shipping containers. The suspects did not take anything.

At just after 3:15 a.m. on Thursday, September 1, an individual broke into a garage in the 11800-block of Glen Arm Road in Glen Arm (21057) and stole two dirt bikes from the location.

At around 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, following an assault in the 5600-block of Overlook Court in White Marsh (21162), a known individual demanded the keys to the victim’s vehicle. After learning that the police were contacted, the suspect returned vehicle and remained at the scene until officers arrived.

At just after 10:15 p.m. on Friday, September 2, a known individual used a lighter to set fire to a bathroom towel and curtain in the 2200-block of Old Eastern Avenue in Middle River (21220). The suspect remained at the scene and admitted to the arson.
