WHITE MARSH, MD—Crews responded to a truck fire in White Marsh on Monday morning.

At around 9:30 a.m. on May 16, the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company, Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, and other local units responded to a tractor-trailer fire at the Eastern Sanitary Landfill on Days Cove Road.

The fire began in the cab and quickly spread to the trailer.  The blaze sent a thick, black plume of smoke billowing into the skies over White Marsh.

No injuries have been reported.
