NOTTINGHAM, MD—The weather could become a bit bumpy in the Baltimore area on Monday.

The National Weather Service says there is an “enhanced risk” of severe storms on May 16th.

Forecasters say numerous severe thunderstorms are possible on Monday afternoon and evening.

Damaging winds will be the primary threat, but large hail and isolated tornadoes are possible as well.

Residents should remain weather-aware throughout the day on Monday.
