CARNEY, MD—Police are investigating after a Thursday night motorcycle crash left one man dead.

At around 9:30 p.m. on May 11,  a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling southbound along Harford Road.  The motorcycle failed to negotiate a left curve and struck a guardrail.

The driver, 34-year-old Donald French, was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities are working to determine all of the factors that contributed to this crash.
