JOPPA, MD—A roadway in Joppa has been shut down after a utility pole came down on Saturday evening.

The incident was reported at around 5:45 p.m. in the area of Trimble Road at Foster Knoll Drive.

Reports indicate that a utility pole has come down and wires are on fire in the road.

The roadway is currently shut down.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
