Perring Park community dedicates new bench to late president

CARNEY, MD—The Perring Park community dedicated a new bench to its former president over the weekend.

Councilman David Marks reports that community members dedicated the bench to the late Philip Kramer on Sunday.

Kramer passed away on September 21, 2021 and led the Perring Park Community Association for decades, according to Councilman Marks.

He was also a veteran, fighting in the Korean War for the U.S. Army from February, 1953 until his discharge in December, 1954.

Phil and his brother Ted partnered to create Maryland Messenger Service, Inc. on March 1, 1956.
