NOTTINGHAM, MD—Baltimore County Public Schools officials have announced that all schools will be closed on Friday, October 29 due to severe weather.

Daycare programs in school buildings will be closed.

Central and administrative offices will be open with option for telework or unscheduled leave for staff.

Harford County Public Schools will also be closed.

A major coastal flooding event is expected in the Baltimore area on Friday.

Flood watches and warnings are in effect for much of the region.
