PARKVILLE. MD—A Parkville resident was able to walk away after foiling a robbery attempt overnight.

The incident occurred at just after midnight early Tuesday morning in the area of Woodside Avenue at Wilson Avenue (21234).

Police say the suspect assaulted the victim, then demanded money.  The victim fought back and was able to walk away.

Authorities say no property was stolen.  No additional details have been released.
