CARNEY, MD—Councilman David Marks on Wednesday announced that his office has arranged for any Belmont South residents without water to use Maximum Fitness and The Y for hot showers.
Maximum Fitness and The Y in Perry Hall are located in the Perry Hall Square Shopping Center, at the intersection of Belair Road and Ebenezer Road. Residents may also use The Y in Parkville, located in the North Plaza Shopping Center.
Several hundred Belmont South residents have been left without water following a large water main break on Kintore Drive on Tuesday.
“We are continuing to work with our state legislators and Baltimore City to have water restored,” said Councilman Marks on Wednesday afternoon. “Many thanks to Maximum Fitness and The Y for their generosity.”
