CARNEY, MD—Police responded to an overnight crash in Carney involving a vehicle into a building.

At around 3:45 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded after a vehicle smashed through the front of the Walgreens located at the intersection of Harford Road and E. Joppa Road (21234).

Authorities say at least one occupant of the vehicle fled the scene and has not been apprehended.  The suspects were not successful in attempting to steal the store’s ATM.

The interior of the Walgreens is currently closed. The drive-thru remains open.

No injuries were reported.
