NOTTINGHAM, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Tuesday afternoon crash on I-695 in the Overlea area.

The crash was reported at around 3:30 p.m. along the inner loop between Belair Road and I-95 exits.

The accident involved a pickup truck with a trailer that lost its load.

The three right lanes are closed along the inner loop of I-695 just past the Route 1 exit.

The Maryland State Highway Administration reported that traffic is backed up for 2 – 4 miles.

Motorists should use caution in the area
