NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating a carjacking that was reported in the Nottingham area overnight.

At just after 3:15 a.m., authorities responded to the 4300-block of Bedrock Circle (21236) in the Southfield community for a report of a carjacking.

Police tell NottinghamMD.com that armed suspects approached a female victim, assaulted her, and then stole her vehicle.

The vehicle has not yet been located.  The female victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threating injuries.
