UPDATE: Per Councilman David Marks, the bridge will also be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 24th and Tuesday, May 25th for maintenance.

KINGSVILLE, MD—The Baltimore County Department of Public Works will be closing the Jericho Road Covered Bridge over Little Gunpowder Falls, which is located between Jerusalem Road and Franklinville Road.

The bridge will be closed on or about Thursday, May 20, for approximately one day between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The closure is being done so that crews can remove graffiti from the stone abutments.

Motorists should use an alternate route on Thursday.
