Rosedale cell phone store robbed, woman choked during assault

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating two local crimes that were reported in recent days.

At 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, a 42-year-old woman was sitting in a car with someone she knew only on a first-name basis in the area of Cynthia Terrace and Utrecht Road (21206), when a verbal argument escalated.

The suspect began choking the woman almost to the point of unconsciousness.  The suspect then fled the scene.

At just after 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, two individuals walked into the Verizon store located in the 8600-block of Pulaski Highway (21237). The suspects ripped three phones from their displays.

When store employees approached, the suspects verbally threatened them as they were attempting to remove the phones. The suspects then fled the scene.
