Robberies reported in Parkville, Rosedale

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating two local robberies that were reported over the past week.

Around 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, an individual arrived at CCBC Essex, located in the 7200-block of Rossville Boulevard (21237), and asked a woman to make a phone call for him. The suspect took the cell phone from the woman’s hand and got back into his vehicle.

The victim fell on the ground and the suspect then struck her with his vehicle as he drove away.  The woman sustained non-life threatening injuries.

At 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, a man approached two individuals in the 8300-block of Nunley Drive (21234) and displayed a gun.

The suspect demanded the victims’ property and then fled the scene in a van.
