ROSEDALE, MD—Police are responding to the scene of a Thursday afternoon shooting in Rosedale.
The shooting was reported at around 2:45 p.m. in the 8300-block of Philadelphia Road (21237).
Officers responded to a call for an armed subject at the scene.
Reports indicate that one individual has been shot in the shoulder.
There is a heavy police presence at the scene. Route 7 has been shut down between Hilldale Road and Kenwood Avenue.
Motorists should avoid the area.
