UPDATE 2:Initial reports indicate that the person struck by the train has died.

UPDATE: A pedestrian was struck by the train in question. There has been no update on their condition.

WHITE MARSH, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Tuesday morning rail incident in White Marsh.

At around 9 a.m., crews with White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company responded to the area of Ebenezer Road at the CSX train crossing.

Further details are not yet available, however Ebenezer Road has been shut down between Pulaski Highway and Philadelphia Road.

The train has been stopped as well.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
