FALLSTON, MD—A road in Fallston was shut down on Tuesday afternoon after a tree fell into the roadway.

At just before 3:30 p.m., a tree and power lines came down in the 1700-block of Laurel Brook Road.

The roadway is currently blocked.

Fire department crews are on the scene and BGE teams are en route.

Motorists should avoid that area.
