MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Authorities are on the scene of a Wednesday night shooting in Middle River.

At just before 9 p.m., officers responded to the 9800-block of Langs Road (21220), after neighbors heard shots fired.

The victim, an adult man, flagged down a pedestrian on Sopwith Drive to get help.

He was taken to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body.

Detectives are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
