JOPPA, MD—Crews rescued a driver following a Friday morning crash in Joppa.

At around 7 a.m., a box truck struck a utility pole in the area of Stockton Road at Atkisson Road.

The crash brought down the utility pole and the driver was trapped by live wires on the roadway and on the truck.

Firefighters were able to successfully rescue the driver.

No injuries were reported.
