ESSEX, MD—Crews responded to the scene of a vehicle trapped on a flooded roadway in Essex early on Monday.
At just before 6:45 a.m., units responded to the area of Golden Ring Road at Kelso Drive (21221).
Crews arrived to find one vehicle trapped in flood waters.
The Baltimore County Fire Department reports that the driver was eventually able to swim to safety.
No injuries were reported.
