7-Eleven robbed at gunpoint in Edgewood

EDGEWOOD, MD—Police are investigating an armed robbery that was reported in Edgewood this week.

At just after 1 a.m. on Monday, March 30, officers responded to the 7-Eleven located in the 500-block of Edgewood Road for a report of an armed robbery.

Upon arrival, deputies were informed that two suspects had just robbed the store. During the robbery, one of the suspects displayed a handgun.

The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash, then fled the scene on foot.  They were last seen running westbound on Trimble Road.

The suspects are described as two men, both in their late teens or early 20s.  Both were wearing black clothing with their faces covered.
