ROSEDALE, MD—Maryland Lottery officials are urging Marylanders to check their tickets.
Even though no one hit the $110 million jackpot in the March 11 drawing, one lucky player won $200,000 and 11,869 others won prizes ranging from $4 to $100.
The Maryland Lottery is looking for the person who bought the lucky ticket at the Royal Farms store located at 8803 Philadelphia Road in Rosedale. The winning numbers were 4, 29, 49, 50 and 67; the Powerball was 2 and the Power Play multiplier was 4.
The $200,000 ticket matched four of the five winning numbers and also matched the Powerball number for a base prize of $50,000. The lucky player added Power Play option to the ticket, which quadrupled the winnings to $200,000.
Officials encourage winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. Winners have 182 days to claim their prize in person at Maryland Lottery headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore.
The Powerball jackpot rolled to $120 million for the Saturday, March 14 drawing, The cash option is $96.1 million.
Maryland is home to two Powerball jackpot wins: $128.8 million in December 2011 (Elkton, Cecil County) and $108.8 million in September 2011 (Abingdon, Harford County). In 2019, Maryland had five $1 million Powerball wins and in 2018 had one $1 million winners. This year, the state previously had 14 third-tier $50,000 winners to date and in 2019 had 53 third-tier winners.
