ESSEX, MD—Crews responded to a pile-up in Essex on Thursday afternoon.

The crash was reported at around 4 p.m. on the ramp from Route 702 to the I-695 outer loop.

A total of six vehicles were involved in the crash.

Injuries were reported and multiple medic units responded to the scene.
