CARNEY, MD—Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting in Carney that left one man dead.
At just before 9:45 p.m., officers responded to the 3500-block of Fieldcreek Way (21234) for a report of shots fired.
At the scene, police located the victim, Tavon Martice Marshall, 37, of the 3500-block of Fieldcreek Way, in the parking lot suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Officers began life-saving efforts until Baltimore County Fire Department EMS arrived and continued efforts to revive the man, but he was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting and ask anyone who may have seen any suspicious vehicles or persons in the area around the time of the shooting to call 410-307-2020 with information.
