Middle River convenience store sells winning $20K Md. Lottery scratch-off

MIDDLE RIVER, MD—A Baltimore City resident walked into the Maryland Lottery Winner’s Circle with a huge smile after claiming a $20,200 prize on the 2020 Cash scratch-off.

The 57-year-old, who works for the State of Maryland, is only the third top-prize winner in the $20 game.

As he left the room, the happy player told everyone he would “be back for the Mega Millions jackpot.”

The jackpot is set for $208 million for the Friday, November 22 drawing with a cash option of $141.1 million.

He found the lucky scratch-off at the Royal Farms store located at 9600 Pulaski Highway in Middle River (21220).

The Baltimore County business is also a big winner. The Maryland Lottery retailer will receive $202, or 1 percent of the prize.
