NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating a bank robbery that was reported in the Nottingham area over the weekend.

At just before 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, an individual entered the Eastern Savings Bank located in the 4100-block of Wholesale Club Drive (21236).

The man placed a note on the counter demanding money and implying that he had a weapon.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect then fled the scene.

Police have released no further details at this time.
