Mother Nature still has a few tricks up her sleeve this winter.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the entire Nottingham area.
The advisory will be in effect from 10 p.m. on Thursday evening until 10 a.m. on Friday morning.
Snow and sleet are expected, with snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions, which will likely impact the Friday morning commute.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery,
increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
