Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 4:30 and 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, an individual entered an apartment in the 4300-block of Bedrock Circle (21236) via a window and stole cash.

Around just after 9:30 a.m. on Christmas day, an individual displayed a gun and tried to rob a man in the 9500-block of Staple Ford Road in Rosedale (21237). The victim grabbed a box cutter and stabbed the suspect. Both individuals then fled the scene.

At about 11 p.m. on Tuesday, a police officer was flagged down by a pizza delivery driver in the 1600-block of Riverwood Road in Essex (21221).  The delivery driver stated that he had been robbed.
