Police are stepping up patrols after several vehicles were broken into in the Seven Courts community in Carney/Perry Hall.

Reports indicate that multiple vehicles were broken into Sunday night, October 28, into Monday morning, October 29.

Vehicles were vandalized on Beloak Court, Chesthill Court, Pikehall Place, Sylvan Park Court, and many other streets in the area.

The suspects reportedly used a universal remote-type device to gain access to the vehicles.  Some of the vehicles were reportedly left unlocked.

Councilman David Marks reports that police will be increasing patrols throughout the area.

Authorities are reminding residents to lock their vehicles at night.
