A date has been set for the Grand Opening of the new Weis Markets in Fullerton.

A media preview day and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the new location at 7927 Bel Air Road on Wednesday, April 11, at 1:00 p.m.

The 67,500 square-foot store, which is a re-purposed site, will create 140 new full- and part-time jobs, driving employment in the region.

The store manager, William Siegmund, and his team will focus intently on serving the needs of the community.

At the event, Weis Markets will make a $50,000 donation to the Maryland Food Bank.

Weis Markets is based in Sunbury, Pennsylvania.

The new location will open to the public at 6 a.m. on Thursday, April 12.
