Carry out restaurant robbed; salesman burglarizes home

Police LightsPolice are investigating two robberies and a burglary that were reported this week.

At noon on Tuesday, January 16, while in the parking lot of the Welcome Inn in the 8700 block of Loch Bend Drive in Parkville (21234), an indivudal approached, touched the victim on the shoulders, and then a struggle ensued. The suspect stole cash and medication from the victim’s pockets and then fled the scene on foot.

Sometime between 12:45 and 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, an individual was allowed entry into the a home in the 2900 block of Edgewood Avenue (21234) to sell the occupant a product. After using the victim’s bathroom, the suspect stole cash from the victim’s bedroom and then fled on foot.

At 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, two armed individuals entered Arlon’s Carry Out, located in the 4900 block of Hazelwood Avenue in Overlea (21206). One of the suspects went around the counter, assaulted the clerk, and demanded money from the register. The suspects took the money and fled.
