Police in Baltimore County are investigating after two people were killed and three people were injured in an overnight crash in Middle River.
At just after 1 a.m. on Saturday, emergency crews responded to the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Carroll Island Road (21220).
Preliminary investigation into the crash has revealed that a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 truck left the roadway, struck several trees, and eventually caught on fire.
Authorities said that the two rear passengers, Michael Darnell Satchell Jr., 26, of Middle River, and Michael Jackson Jr., 15, also of Middle River, were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other injured passengers and the driver are being treated for serious injuries.
The investigation continues at this hour.
