A pedestrian struck by a truck on Eastern Boulevard in Essex on Tuesday morning has died.
The pedestrian, Lisa Renee Lambros, 27, of Middle River, was in the travel lane of Eastern Boulevard near Old Eastern Avenue when she was struck by a white 1999 Ford Ranger traveling westbound.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene at about 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Lambros was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center with life threatening injuries, where she later died.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene and has not been charged at this time.
This incident remains under investigation at this hour.
