Police were searching for an armed subject in the Nottingham/White Marsh area on Monday afternoon.

At about 1:30 p.m., officers converged on a wooded area near Campbell Boulevard at Franklin Square Drive, according to Baltimore County Breaking News.

Details have not been released, but witnesses in the area say police are searching the area for a man with a weapon.

Some employees in the area report that their places of work are “on lockdown.”

A police helicopter has joined in the search effort and motorists should expect delays in the area.
