Police are investigating after a local pizza shop and a home under construction were burglarized over the weekend.

Sometime between 9 p.m. on Friday, December 16, and 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, someone forced open the basement window to a home being remodeled by Dreamland Builders, LLC. The home was located in the 11600 block of Philadelphia Road, 21162. Once inside, the suspect stole several sets of tools from the home, then fled the scene.

Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, and 8:45 a.m. on Monday, December 19, someone broke the front window to Spartan Pizza, located in the 600 block of South Marlyn Avenue, 21221. Once inside, the suspect stole cash then fled the scene.
