Crews were on the scene of a major accident on the beltway in Rosedale early Saturday morning. 

Due to icy road conditions, authorities says that approximately 15 to 20 vehicles were involved in the crash. 

Six patients were transported to Bayview for treatment of their injuries. 

Crews from White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company and other local departments responded to the crash. 

Officials are urging residents to stay off of the roads until temperatures warm up.
