Four local burglaries reported to police

burglaryPolice are investigating nearly a handful of burglaries and attempted burglaries that took place over the past several days, including three in the same block.

Between 1 and 5:30 p.m. on December 6, someone broke a rear basement window pane and entered a residence along Consett Court, 21236. Once inside, the suspect stole several items, then fled the scene.



Sometime between 9 p.m. on December 6 and 2:45 p.m. on December 11, an individual gained entry to a home in the 9800 block of Finsbury Road, 21237, through a window. Various collectibles were stolen from the home.

Sometime between 11:30 a.m. and noon on December 10, someone attempted to break into another home in the 9800 block of Finsbury Road, 21237, through a firewall but they were unsuccessful.

Sometime between noon and 12:15 p.m. on December 10, an individual attempted to gain entry to a home in the 9800 block of Finsbury Road, 21237, by breaking a window. The suspect fled the scene when the victim yelled at him.
