Carney residents may have noticed utility work and construction delays along Joppa Road near Magledt Road.

It now appears as though this work will continue until at least the end of November.

On Monday, Baltimore County Councilman David Marks shared the following update from the county:

“BGE is still working along Joppa Road, near Magledt Road and it is estimated that they will be in this area for another 30-45 days. Approximately two weeks after the completion of this work, the permanent paving of the area will begin. In the meantime, we have spoken with the contractor working on behalf of BGE and asked that they are mindful of the condition of the roadway to ensure the safety of the traveling public.”
