BALTIMORE, MD—Monday’s heavy rains caused several records to fall according to the National Weather Service. At Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, 2.39″ fell on Monday, beating the previous record of 1.15″ set in 1934. BWI ties record high temperature mark

BALTIMORE, MD—It was an unseasonably warm Saturday, and it was also one for the record books. BWI Airport recorded a high temperature of 77 degrees. That temperature matched a record high for this date from 1975 and 1938, according to the National Weather Service. Dulles hit 76 degrees, breaking the old record of 74 from 1965.

NOTTINGHAM, MD—As an October heat wave grips the region, temperature records have begun to fall. By 11 a.m., daily high temperature records were broken at both Dulles Airport & BWI Airport.
