NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating two local crimes that were reported on April 4th.

At 5:30 a.m. on Monday, an individual entered a restaurant at White Marsh Mall, located in the 8200-block of Perry Hall Boulevard (21236), and stole various food items.

The suspect was found inside the location with other stolen items in a bag and was subsequently arrested.

At just after 5:15 p.m. on Monday, a man sustained minor injuries when he was assaulted by an armed suspect at the Welcome Inn, located in the 8700-block of Loch Bend Drive (21234).
