NOTTINGHAM, MD—Loud noise alert!

Aberdeen Proving Ground officials have announced that the base will be conducting daytime and nighttime firing tests this week.

The testing is scheduled for May 3 – 8, 2021, from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. EST.

Loud noises may be heard in some areas surrounding the installation.

Officials say these operations are not hazardous to residents in surrounding communities and are integral to ensuring continued readiness of service members.
