Attempted carjacking reported in Rosedale

ROSEDALE, MD—Police are investigating an attempted carjacking that was reported in Rosedale over the weekend.

At 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, a man was sitting in the 8000-block of Philadelphia Road (21237) when an individual approached him and asked for money.

The victim opened the vehicle door to show the suspect that he had no money.

The suspect then pointed a gun at the man and threatened to take the victim’s truck.

The suspect then fled the scene.  No injuries were reported in the incident.
