Two Carney shops sell winning $10,000 Maryland Lottery scratch-offs

CARNEY, MD—There were a couple of big, local lottery winners last week.

The Maryland Lottery reports that two, winning $10,000 scratch-off tickets were sold in Carney.

Northwind Liquors, located at 3005 Northwind Road (21234), sold a winning Lucky 7s Multiplier ticket, while the Royal Farms located at 2410 E. Joppa Road (21234) sold a winning Holiday Luck x10 ticket.

The Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore is open by appointment only. Lottery prizes up to and including $25,000 can be claimed at any of Maryland’s six casinos with no appointment necessary.

Scratch-off winners have 182 days from the announced end-of-game date, though there is a grace period for tickets that expire during the COVID-19 state of emergency.
