KINGSVILLE, MD—A Wednesday evening rescue operation is under way at Gunpowder Falls State Park.

At just before 7 p.m., emergency crews were attempting to rescue three people who were lost at the park and potentially trapped by the terrain.

Crews are attempting to locate the individuals and a helicopter is assisting with the search.

There has been no word on any injuries.
