NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for portions of Baltimore County and Harford County and also says that stormy weather is possible throughout the area on Tuesday.

A cold front will pass through the area late Tuesday morning and into the afternoon hours.

Forecasters say there is a slight risk for storms and damaging winds throughout the region.

Freezing temperatures are also anticipated overnight across northern Baltimore County and Harford County.

Looking ahead, a strong low pressure system may bring heavy rain to the region on Thursday afternoon into early Friday. A second area of low pressure will follow Saturday into Sunday providing more rainfall.

Instances of flooding may result.
