Rosedale shooting victims released from hospital

ROSEDALE, MD—Authorities said on Monday that the five victims from this weekend’s shooting in Rosedale have been released from the hospital.

Two 12-year-old boys, one 14-year-old girl, one 14-year-old boy, and a 19-year-old man were released from the hospital late on Sunday and are recovering from their gunshot wounds at home.

At just after midnight on Sunday, officers responded to the Kenwood Shopping Center, located in the 6200-block of Kenwood Avenue (21237) for a report of a shooting.

Rickie Tyrone Forehand, 13, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The five other victims were taken to a nearby hospital.

Police are asking the community for any information or video footage from that night.
