Attempted carjacking reported in Overlea-Fullerton, Boscov’s burglarized

Police GraphicPolice are investigating a burglary and an attempted carjacking that were reported last week.

At just before 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 25, an individual broke into Boscov’s at White Marsh Mash, stole clothing, and then fled. The suspect was later apprehended.

At 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 26, officers were dispatched to S&S Lounge in the 6900-block of Belair Road. A man had left the lounge and gone to the 4200-block of Linhigh Avenue intending to leave his car there and take an Uber back to the lounge. A vehicle pulled up behind the man and a male suspect exited, walked up to the victim’s car, and knocked on his passenger side window. The suspect produced a gun and told the victim not to drive away. The victim immediately drove away and back to the lounge, where he called police.
