Attempted robbery reported at Dollar General, Fullerton burglar caught in the act

Police LightsPolice are investigating an attempted robbery and two burglaries that have been reported this week.

At 10 p.m. on Monday, June 25, an armed individual entered the Dollar General store located in the 8700-block of Belair Road in Perry Hall (21236) and demanded that the store clerk open the safe. When the clerk advised that she did not have access to the safe, the suspect fled. Nothing was taken from the store.

Sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Monday and 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, an individual broke into a garage in the 1600-block of Holly Tree Road in Middle River (21220).  Once inside, the suspect stole and ATV and then fled the scene.

At 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, an individual broke into a residence along Belhaven Drive (21236). When confronted by the residents, the suspect ran into the woods behind the house. The witnesses pursued the suspect, who was subsequently arrested.
